Built for Eolia's ground
Pike County runs from Lincoln Hills knobs and river bluffs on the east to rolling prairie farmland toward the west. Upland farm ground here holds water in the clay, and a freeze-thaw winter turns that into heaving. We grade for runoff before anything else, then compact the rock base in layers so it carries the load.
Bids are only comparable when they spell out the same things: base depth, compacted thickness, how edges are finished, and where water is meant to go. Ask for those before you pick a number.
